Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This privacy policy applies to the Baz Patel Digital Twin mobile application (the "App"), published by BluKai LLC. The App is a personal digital twin experience — an AI built to speak and think like Baz Patel, allowing users to have genuine conversations with him.

2. What data we collect

Conversation text. Messages you send and responses generated by the AI are stored in our database. This allows the twin to maintain memory of past conversations.
Voice transcripts.When you use Voice Mode, your speech is captured by your device's microphone, transcribed to text, and sent to our servers to generate a response. Raw audio is not stored on our servers.
Device consent records. We store a local flag on your device (via AsyncStorage) to record that you accepted this privacy policy. No personal identifiers are included.

3. How we use your data

To generate AI responses that feel authentic to Baz Patel's voice and memory.
To maintain conversation continuity across sessions so the twin remembers prior discussions.
We do not use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it to build profiles for purposes other than powering your experience with the twin.

4. Third-party services

To deliver the AI experience, your conversation data is processed by the following third-party services:

Anthropic (Claude).Your messages and conversation history are sent to Anthropic's API to generate responses. Anthropic's privacy policy applies: anthropic.com/privacy
ElevenLabs.When voice responses are enabled, the AI's text response is sent to ElevenLabs to be converted to speech audio. ElevenLabs' privacy policy applies: elevenlabs.io/privacy

5. Microphone access

Voice Mode requires microphone access to transcribe your speech. The App will ask for your permission before activating the microphone. You can revoke microphone access at any time through your device's Settings app. Revoking access will disable Voice Mode but the text chat will continue to work normally.

6. Data retention

Conversation data is retained to maintain the twin's memory across sessions. You can begin a new conversation at any time to start fresh without prior context. To request permanent deletion of all conversation data associated with your use of the App, email us at the address below and we will process your request within 30 days.

7. Children

This App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
